Hello there!  

I’m Anika!  I reside on our little farm in Doswell, Virginia with my husband, our two (not-so-little-anymore kids, our horses, two little(ish) pigs, and cats!  Our life is wild and crazy, but insanely fun (see below, ha!).  My kids keep me on my toes constantly with their antics.  I love to spend time with my family, enjoy good people with a great sense of humor, riding our horses and caring for our critters, eating absurd servings of chocolate, a good workout, and I’m a big fan of the smell of clean laundry.  All that aside, anyone that knows me knows that I am a big dreamer, and that I am fiercely passionate about what I do.  

I went full time and opened my photography studio in 2017 and never looked back!  My photographic style is full of what I consider to be the best things in life… happiness and delight, bliss, warmth, love, and all the little things I see in those fleeting day-to-day moments.  I love everything whimsical, romantic, and beautiful.  It is not unusual to see a sunset and a horse or two in the backdrop of my photos.  Farm life not your thing?  Fear not, I also travel to wherever you want to send me!  I love adventure!

My clients come to me mostly by word of mouth, so if you’re happy to have worked with me, shout it from the rooftops!  I greatly appreciate the compliment of a referral!
