I found out today the official rankings of the photos I entered into the Shoot and Share contest, which is the world’s largest photography contest. I entered on a whim and using only photos that I happened to have handy on my hard drive at the time. The talent I saw during voting was absolutely insane! I was super shocked to find out that I made it as far as I did! I actually had quite a few entries that made it further than I expected, but here are the top four ranking images from my submission.
This image made Top 100 out of nearly 24,000 submissions in it’s category! ❤
This image was one of the more adventurous sessions I had in 2016 (slippery rocks over the river while carrying heavy camera gear almost had me freaking out, not gunna lie, haha). This photo was a finalist in the Lifestyle category, which had over 10,700 entries!
This was probably one of my most challenging sessions in 2016, as you can see, LOL. We had a blast and laughed the whole time, but worked hard to get the final images! This was an outtake I entered into the “That Just Happened” category, and was also a finalist in that category with 4300+ entries.
This portrait of these twin girls is one of my favorites ever. It made the top 10% in it’s category with almost 24k entries. And here are some of my badges for these particular photos, because I’m fancy. 😉
You are amazingly good!
