Tank is a 7 year old Boxer that came to me with a special request. He was looking all over for a pet photographer in the Richmond, VA area that could meet his needs. He wanted to surprise his mama with a professional portrait session (and he felt left out without having his own picture on the wall of their home). We solved that problem and his mama was super surprised and they totally rocked it.
Seriously. How perfect are they?! 😍😜 Don’t you think your pet needs their own portrait on your family wall?
I was bored last week and knew the weather was going to be nice, so I offered a cheap mini-shoot to the first couple people to message me on my Facebook page (which I do every so often, so go become a fan!). Carey posted almost immediately that she wanted in, so I had her family out a few nights ago. They are a wild bunch! They brought along their two kids as well as their 3 boxers and it was a fun chaos.
The kids and I (of course, being as mature as I am) giggled pretty much the whole time as we tried to get the dogs to cooperate. It was funny. There was just so much new stuff for them to look at. Horses, cows, cat, horse poop!
They were so cute and the kids were so sweet too. The weather was really nice and although we didn’t get the sunset until it was almost dark (phooey), it was still a great evening for a quick little photo shoot. Photographing pets can be a little tricky since they move so fast, especially if they’re in a new setting, but I love a challenge and I love meeting people’s pets 🙂
Here’s a few more photos from their shoot. Enjoy!
