Sunday mornings

Finally the weekend!  Can I get a hallelujah?!  We had a long, boring week at home.  The good news is that our kitchen, living room and laundry room are no longer a construction zone!  Hopefully the rest of the house will soon be done and we can get back to life as we know it.  I am already dying to spring clean and get some major organization done, but it’s pretty pointless at this point with things being shuffled back and forth between rooms while waiting for the floors to be completed. But soon!

Took some photos this morning while hubby spent time making pancakes and turkey bacon for breakfast.  Kellan spent his time smearing it all over his face and chair, then finally dropping pieces for the ever-hopeful dogs. No where else in the world I would rather be. ❤

My loves (yeah, yeah, yeah, barf alert).

I love the weekends, even when my husband is usually driving me crazy.  We aren’t the typical lovey-dovey couple in public, we always tease each other and we both have a crass sense of humor most of the time, but we have our own thing and it works for us.  I don’t say it enough, but he takes such good care of us and has always supported my newest venture/hobby/obsessions, no matter how crazy they seem to anyone else.  We went on a trip this weekend and I snapped this photo of him and the baby in the hotel.  I absolutely adore it.  He’s a good dad and Kellan and I are lucky to have him.

And of course, here are a couple photos of our handsome man.  Even though he never (ever… EVER…)  lets me sleep, this little smile is enough to get me through the day.

Reeves family pictures

I was bored last week and knew the weather was going to be nice, so I offered a cheap mini-shoot to the first couple people to message me on my Facebook page (which I do every so often, so go become a fan!). Carey posted almost immediately that she wanted in, so I had her family out a few nights ago. They are a wild bunch! They brought along their two kids as well as their 3 boxers and it was a fun chaos.

The kids and I (of course, being as mature as I am) giggled pretty much the whole time as we tried to get the dogs to cooperate. It was funny. There was just so much new stuff for them to look at. Horses, cows, cat, horse poop!

They were so cute and the kids were so sweet too. The weather was really nice and although we didn’t get the sunset until it was almost dark (phooey), it was still a great evening for a quick little photo shoot. Photographing pets can be a little tricky since they move so fast, especially if they’re in a new setting, but I love a challenge and I love meeting people’s pets 🙂

Here’s a few more photos from their shoot.  Enjoy!
