I love, love working with this sweet little family of three (soon to be four)! They are seriously the cutest ever. Kelly and I have been planning out this unicorn session for quite some time now, and it honestly could not have come together any more perfectly. I just adore all the emotions captured in this gallery. And how about the adorable expressions their little girl gave us when she set her big blue eyes on Poppy the unicorn! THIS is what every childhood should be filled with! Love and a little bit of magic ❤

Family Portrait Session – Doswell, VA

This session was so perfectly imperfect. If I have learned anything over the years as a family photographer, I’ve learned that toddlers can be SO unpredictable. That being said, I am always prepared with some tricks up my sleeve to get their cooperation for at least a few frames.

I do love capturing the realness of what life is like at that moment in your life, so when your toddler has a meltdown, we roll with it and turn it into fun. I want each experience they have with me to be positive and I want them to have a great time making memories. After all, that’s what this is all about 🙂

We had some fantastic weather for this family session at my farm. I love the beautiful golden light we get here. We sure did luck out when we bought this place– as a family photographer, I couldn’t ask for a more perfect scene! We laughed and played and twirled. I can’t wait to see this finished gallery wall in print!

Annual Holiday Mini Sessions – Doswell, VA

I am excited to announce that I am now publicly booking for my Story Time With Santa sessions! Santa Claus last year was AWESOME, and I had so many requests to host this event again this year that I couldn’t say no. Each session includes a complimentary wardrobe and styling consultation, a 20 minute personalized play date with Santa, and a private ordering appointment, which is the perfect opportunity to get some Christmas shopping done for family!

I am also still taking on a handful of bookings for my $99 mini sessions. The deadline to book your session is nearing, so if you’re thinking about it, don’t wait. These have generated a ton of interest and I’m super excited to be able to help everyone get some quick, updated portraits!
