Sibling Session – Doswell, VA

I was contacted for this sibling session by Phil, who was searching for a Richmond area family photographer to help them capture some fun and updated portraits of their children to hang in their home. I love working with older children because I can still draw out their silliness, but also because they tend to listen very well, which is quite a change of pace from the toddler age that I tend to photograph a lot, haha.

We got some great formal, posed portraits, but also got a little silly and captured some really fun candid shots as well. They chose the metal prints to display their images, which is a perfect choice for these vibrant portraits. Here is a quick peek at a few shots from their session!

Annual Holiday Mini Sessions – Doswell, VA

I am excited to announce that I am now publicly booking for my Story Time With Santa sessions! Santa Claus last year was AWESOME, and I had so many requests to host this event again this year that I couldn’t say no. Each session includes a complimentary wardrobe and styling consultation, a 20 minute personalized play date with Santa, and a private ordering appointment, which is the perfect opportunity to get some Christmas shopping done for family!

I am also still taking on a handful of bookings for my $99 mini sessions. The deadline to book your session is nearing, so if you’re thinking about it, don’t wait. These have generated a ton of interest and I’m super excited to be able to help everyone get some quick, updated portraits!

Lifestyle photos – Vacation in Rodanthe, NC

I’ve been gearing up for the busy fall season and trying to put together my annual mini session event, and it’s making me already miss summer! And it’s barely September! So today’s blog post is a throw back to our beach vacation earlier this summer in Rodanthe. I always want to remember all the little mundane details that make up our lives, so I hauled my camera with us to the pizzeria down the street and made sure to capture all the little details and mannerisms of my little humans. Little wrist rolls, long eye lashes, the way she holds her cups, the way he curiously studies everything… I’ll remember 🙂

Children’s Portrait Session – Doswell, Virginia

I had the pleasure of working with Amanda and her two adorable kids recently. They were so well behaved and just so sweet! We discussed wardrobe prior to the session and I was so happy to see that she nailed Adam’s outfit. He looked like such a little gentleman. She borrowed a dress from my Client Closet for Kendall and oh my gosh, she looked precious! That dress is perfect for twirling 😉 I have a few gorgeous dresses available for my littlest clients to borrow that look great for children’s portraits or family photos. All sessions are styled during the consultation, so if you’re clothing-impaired, don’t worry! We will get you all dressed perfectly.
